Gartan’s Book – 12/7/10

2624 words, 3 scenes.

It’s weird.  I expected to be able to get at least twice the words during the type-in as I got during the actual writing of everything.  I’m having less trouble reading my handwriting than I expected but it seems more draining to type it in than to write it.

I’ve finally hit the spot where I realized I was writing too tight and started throwing everything in but the kitchen sink.  And the writing has improved dramatically.

I’m getting some great revision ideas as I’m going through here.  The thief’s story, which has felt a bit cheap and unfocused, is in for a major overhaul that’s going to really distill the essence of it.

  1. Glad to see you are still in the story, still excited by it. That’s a good sign! :)TX

PS Typing can be a chore, specially when you do it all day. Maybe a voice recognition program like Dragon?
