Gartan’s Book – 9/11/10

6 pages.  Most of a scene, but not quite all.

The protag is taken from her cell to a room where her mother in law is waiting.  She expects her MIL to lambast her but instead, her MIL is acting all weird and weak.  The protag learns that the antag used her MIL and her MIL has come to apologize for what she did (to accuse her of practicing evil magics) but that the antag was making her do it.

One of the interesting things about this scene is that the protag has a silence spell on her and she can’t speak.  Sometimes the MIL is able to read the protag’s lips and sometimes she can’t concentrate enough to do it.

I didn’t get as much time to write as I expected.  My SIL and wife came home and I spent most of the evening with them and my niece.  9/12 starts football season… so… not so much writing on 9/12.
